3. The Mary’s Gone Crackers

The Mary’s Gone Cracker’s seed was sown the day Mary discovered the ability to make incredible snacks using only whole, plant-based ingredients.

Her excellent crackers gradually gained fame outside of her kitchen, leading her to leave a lucrative position to pursue her love. You can eat their crackers straight from the package, or get creative with your favorite toppings to create your flavor journey!

4. Beecher’s

Kurt was traveling through Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market in 2002 when he saw a long-time tenant had closed his shop. He phoned the landlord, went back to his office, and said that they were going into the cheesemaking business.

The Pike Place Market site, a hotspot for fresh food and artisan things in Seattle, allowed for almost encircling the cheesemaking facility with windows, allowing for a live presentation of all three concepts.

Cheesemaking equipment was acquired piece by piece to fit inside the 1,000-square-foot glass-walled kitchen shortly after obtaining the property. Working with local dairies ensures that Beecher’s cows are handled humanely and provided only high-quality grain with no additional recombinant bovine growth hormones.

6. Just The Cheese

Just The Cheese’s favorite aspect of a grilled cheese sandwich has always been the crispy cheese around the edges. When the owner was 100, his father, a proud Wisconsin cheesemaker, removed a particularly crispy sandwich from the pan, and he wanted to make cheese like that.

Paul, never one to turn down a dairy-related challenge, set to work. He and His cheesemaking team invented the crispy cheese snack that became Just The Cheese.

Things were wonderful during the Atkins frenzy, but the Just The Cheese brand withered temporarily once the trend passed. Now, the company is back on its toes doing amazing work.
